Kim Kardashian may be just a reality TV starlette, but on the weekend she was hanging out with a number of Hollywood A-list celebrities including Sean Penn, Orlando Bloom, Demi Moore, Mel Gibson and Hilary Swank. Kardashian was perhaps the most elegant of the attendees though, with a stylish silver ensemble that show off her curves and featured a plunging neckline.

Kim’s style was much like the actresses of the golden age of cinema in the 1930s and 1940s – glamorous and sophisticated. Her hair was very much in that elegant style of actresses of the time.

Kim curves did not help Demi Moore though, who was looking incredibly skinny to the point of appearing malnourished. Poor Demi has not been doing well after the break up with Ashton Kutcher and it shows. It was not fair putting Kim’s magnificent curves in the same room as Demi Moore’s skeletal frame!

The event was the “Cinema For Peace” held at the Montage Hotel in Los Angeles and was about raising awareness of the disaster in Haiti and raising some money. Sean Penn has been actively involved in helping Haitians for more than a decade as they combat famine, war and political corruption.

Well Kim Kardashian appearing on the cover of Success magazine is most definitely not a reference to her 72 day marriage to Kris Humphries! Instead it is referring to the very successful Kim Kardashian business empire which has an involvement in everything from diet products, to cosmetics to clothing to shoes to liquor.

Success magazine have displayed Kim Kardashian on the cover of the most recent issue heralding her as a very smart entrepreneur in the “celebrity marketing” avenue.

The magazine specifically lists: Kim’s skincare line, the Kardashian’s five DASH clothing boutiques around the world, the big sales of the book “Kardashian Konfidential”, the Kardashian Kollection handbag line, a Kardashian Kolors nail polish line for OPI, the Kim Kardashian fragrances, the Kardashian branded clothing collections with Sears and Bebe and a few more business ventures as displaying Kim Kardashian’s business successes.

That’s not even counting Shoedazzle, which Kim Kardashian co-founded in 2009 and which has been very successful and is in the process of expanding.

According to the magazine, Kim started off early, and at 19 was going through friends cupboards, helping them cash in via eBay.

Kardashian explains the method to her success: “Every six months my mom and I set goals and visions for what we want to achieve. Then we write a goal that is outlandish and outside what we think is our goal range.”

At one time one of those outlandish goals was to have a fragrance, and now Kim has a 4th fragrance about to be launched.

Kim still has a huge number of fans despite the breakup with Kris Humphries turning some people off her. It is estimated Kardashian has nearly 7 million Faceboopk fans and nearly 12 million Twitter followers.

Kim also knows what to do with her fans and treats them like friends rather than customers. She told the magazine: “I feel like I’m giving my sisterly advice, I’ll listen to fans comments and questions asking what skincare do I use or what fragrance I like, and I feel I’m in a position that I can answer those questions well.”

Of course most of the answers to those questions will involve one of Kim’s products!
Kim has certainly come very far since the release of the infamous Kim Kardashian Sex Tape!

An interesting new rumor about Kim Kardashian has popped up – apparently Mattel, the company that makes Barbie Dolls, is considering a Kim Kardashian barbie doll. In fact they are apprently considering doing all of the Kardashian sisters (Kim, Khloe, Kourtney) in a special limited edition “Dash Dolls” series available later on this year.

There is no word is Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner might have their own Barbie dolls, but given their ages they are probably still playing with Barbie dolls!

It wouldn’t be the first time Kardashian has been involved with dolls before. There was her involvement with the pussycat dolls, the manufacture of the “Kim Kardashian Filthy Love Doll” a nasty looking sex toy, and there was the wax sculpture of Kim Kardashian which is a life sized doll!

Fans haven’t been too receptive to the idea of a Barbie Doll dedicated to Kim Kardashian. Some have questioned if giving your daughter a doll of a former sex tape starlette is in bad taste! Kim Kardashian was a a star of the hit Kim Kardashian Sex Tape with rapper Ray J.

One fan wanted to know if the doll came with it’s own sex tape and divorce papers!

Is Kim Kardashian modifying her look or is she simply getting older and needs reading glasses? Fans spotted the lovely Ms Kardashian in Beverly Hills yesterday trying on various pairs of glasses.

One pair she tried on was thick rimmed geeky looking glasses that might be more suitable to a geek or perhaps ironic hipster. The end result of the glasses on Kardashian was “ridiculously hot librarian”.

Unfortunately she didn’t walk out of the shop with the glasses and must have been just trying them on for fun. It would have been a look that delighted hipsters and geeks around the world.

When Kim left the store she was back to her normal ultra-glamorous self and the geek sheik that we saw in the store was gone..

Kim Kardashian is making a habit of going to the Tao nightclub in Las Vegas for New Year Eves events. This year she turned up there once again and was in the mood to party.

Kim is even calling the event a tradition now: “It’s a tradition to bring in the new year here at Tao!”

She was certainly dressed to party with a new hair style and a super tight Gucci mini dress. Kardashian also wore Louboutin heels. However the hair style may have had the assistance of clip in bangs, the same style that Jennifer Lopez wears.

Kim was not wearing any of the three Elizabeth Taylor bracelets that she recently won at the auction event, but was wearing a lot of jewels by designer Loren.

As for Kim Kardashian’s future, she says: “I am ready to move forward and not look back. I learned a lot of about myself this past year and at the end of the day you always have to trust your gut”. But isn’t that what she did when she married Kris Humphries?

Kim continued “You’ve got to believe in love. I still do.” Well hopefully Kim finds a nicer guy on the horizon.
