Not many people thought it would happen, but Kim Kardashin and Paris Hilton might be becoming friends again! The pair had a falling out after the release of the Kim Kardashian sex tape, which saw Kim’s fame quickly rise above Hilton’s.

After that Kim Kardashian became a leading reality television celebrity, with multiple television shows and millions of dollars worth of product endorsements. Many say that Paris was annoyed that Kim obviously replicated Hilton’s tactics with the sex tape and the product lines.

The pair reunited at the Cannes Film Festival recently, and were seen happily chatting for quite a while. This wasn’t just a quick hello and couple of words, but a long conversation in which both looked happy and smiling.

The reunion happened when they met at the amfAR gala Thursday at the Hotel do Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes.

Witnesses told the press that they “hugged, smiled and chatted for a while.” A source close to Kardashian claims that the past disagreements are all water under the bridge, writing: “They really have no problem with each other; it has been a long time.”

We may see a return of Hilton and Kardashian hitting the nightclubs and having a good time! Let’s hope so.

It turns out that Kim’s impulsive marriage and quick divorce hasn’t just been embarrassing to her, it’s cost her a friend!

Kim’s lifelong friend Brittny Gastineau apparently told Kardashian that rushing into the wedding was a mistake, but Kim completely ignored her advice. That led to the 72 day marriage and quicky divorce.

A source close to Brittny and Kim told radaronline: “Brittny was very concerned about Kim’s decision to leap into this marriage, and she said that to her, in a very kind way. It didn’t seem to bother Kim at the time, which was around the time the engagement was announced. Maybe Kim felt silly, and perhaps she should have listened to Brittny. Brittny isn’t the ‘I told you so’ type. She is very hurt that Kim has frozen her out of her life right now”

Brittny and Kim have been friends for a number of years so the falling out was a bit of a shock for many.

After a public fight that went on for a few years, Paris Hilton and Kim Kardashian have finally made up! They were once very close friends but then fell apart as they became jealous of each other.

According to ‘Us Magazine’, Paris Hilton was the one who started the reconciliation and contacted Kim first. Then at the Jimmy Lovine Grammy after party Paris was happily chatting to Kim and even apologized over past behavior, according to a source.

According to the source: “Paris came up to her and apologized, and said she didn’t want to fight. Paris said she was happy for Kim’s success despite what reports have said — Kim was sweet and accepted her apology.”

In other Kardashian news, Kim has released a few photographs of her in the recording studio, making the first Kim Kardashian song! Hip hop producer “The Dream” and rapper Kanye West helped Kim record the song and all profits will go to a cancer charity.

Kim blogged the photos and told fans: “Ok guys, I’ve decided to share some fun special photos from my first day in the recording studio with The Dream! This was such a fun experience! It was so great to do something completely out of my comfort zone and I really recommend that you guys challenge yourselves to do the same this year!”

The Kim Kardashian song will debut on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show in the next few weeks!

Kim Kardashian is rarely seen without makeup and in casual clothes, but on Sunday morning Kim was spotted leaving a friends house in Beverly Hills in trackpants and a casual top. Kardashian was decked out in grey trackpants and a black top with sparkly boots and dark sunglasses. Certainly more casual than her normal look but she still looked great!

Kardashian quickly tweeted good morning after she got in her car, always keen to keep in contact with her many fans.

In related Kardashian news, Kim’s mother Kris Jenner has revealed that Kim still has a couple of guys on the go. At a recent party, Kris revealed: “She’s dating a lot of different people. I usually don’t meet them until she gets serious and, so far, she hasn’t brought him around.” So she isn’t seeing just Kris Jenner, but perhaps some mystery men we don’t know about – she is keeping her options open in 2011.
