Kim Kardashian & Kris Humphries
Kris Humphries has had a rough few weeks with the end of his brief marriage to mega hotty Kim Kardashian and his career as a basketballer stalling with his contract with the New Jersey Nets ending. So he is without a job and without a curvy woman.
However he is a motivated guy and isn’t letting those setbacks stop him from making money and staying in the public eye.
Humphires has organised a lucrative endorsement deal with watch company “Sector”, which he announced at a press conference in New York on Friday. It looks like Humphries is keen to keep the money rolling in. The contract is worth an estimated $150’000, so not chump change.
The biggest point of concern for Humphries is that he doesn’t have a basketball team at the moment, so his agent is busy checking out teams that might be interested in a recently divorced Kris Humphries.
Humphries mentioned his divorce at the press conference, strangely thanking the watch company for their help: “As you all know, this has been a difficult time in my life and I’m so grateful [for] my friends at Sector for their unwavering support.”
Kris also claimed that he has a love of fashion, which is interesting considering he would need giant sized versions of the designs to fit his massive height: “It truly represents who I am both on and off the court. I’ve been a watch and fashion lover my entire life and a competitor and the no limit tag is really about how I approach my career.”
He seems to be moving on with his life post-Kardashian.
Kim Kardashian and Brittny Gastineau
It turns out that Kim’s impulsive marriage and quick divorce hasn’t just been embarrassing to her, it’s cost her a friend!
Kim’s lifelong friend Brittny Gastineau apparently told Kardashian that rushing into the wedding was a mistake, but Kim completely ignored her advice. That led to the 72 day marriage and quicky divorce.
A source close to Brittny and Kim told radaronline: “Brittny was very concerned about Kim’s decision to leap into this marriage, and she said that to her, in a very kind way. It didn’t seem to bother Kim at the time, which was around the time the engagement was announced. Maybe Kim felt silly, and perhaps she should have listened to Brittny. Brittny isn’t the ‘I told you so’ type. She is very hurt that Kim has frozen her out of her life right now”
Brittny and Kim have been friends for a number of years so the falling out was a bit of a shock for many.
Kim Kardashian Sex Tape made mom cry!
Well we knew that Kim Kardashian really upset her family with the release of the Kim Kardashian sex tape, but only now is it becoming apparent how distraught Kim’s mom Kris Jenner was.
Jenner has just released her first book, an autobiography entitled “Kris Jenner… And All Things Kardashian” and she goes into great detail on the release of the Kim Kardashian sex tape and how she “cried for days” over it’s release.
Despite many media pundits suggesting that the release of the sextape was just a part of the Kardashian plan for world dominance, Kris Jenner says this was not the case at all. She wrote: Hell, yes, it was dumb. But she never did drugs, never even drank, never did anything that could prove embarrassing to her. I know for her to do something like that, completely sober, had to be an honest mistake.
Perhaps the Paris Hilton influence had a little something to do with the sex tape and Kim’s poor mom was just horrified over the whole situation.
Kris Jenner described the tapes release as being “horrible”, writing: “It was a horrible time for our family. That kind of thing is devastating, embarrassing, expensive and draining. Kim and I cried for days. We were so upset and anxious. Kim knew she’d made a huge mistake and she had disappointed her family. She was so embarrassed that anyone saw her like that”
Well the sex tape certainly raised Kim Kardashian’s profile and made her a few million dollars so despite the embarrassment, it turned out pretty well for the hollywood hotty!
Kendall Jenner Skips Tattoo
Kendall Jenner is transforming from a girl to a beautiful young woman and has just celebrated her 16th birthday! Her birthday wish? Embracing her naughty girl side and getting a tattoo, much to her mothers disdain.
However Kendall has chickened out at the last minute on the tattoo, all caught on camera in the upcoming special on E! to celebrate her birthday.
Jenner even worked on the design with tattoo artist Mario Barth, and was excited about it. Mario described it: “She loved the design, But she was saying, ‘I don’t feel 100 percent. Can I wait?’ She made the right call.”
The tattoo was the words vous tees belles, French for “you are beautiful,” and Jenner wanted them on the back of her neck.
Kim Kardashian had recommended against the tattoo, as had Kris Jenner. Could this be the first sign of Kendall Jenner rebelling and becoming the black sheep of the family?
Kim told E! “I’m not a fan of tattoos, Especially at a young age when you change your mind so much.”
Kim Kardashian Divorce
Despite a rushed meeting with their pastor in Minnesota, it looks like Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries will be going ahead with their divorce. There was a small hint at a possible reconciliation between the two but it’s not happening.
TMZ have reported that the divorce is now a certainty and the paperwork is being processed. Sources close to Kardashian say it was not an easy decision, but at this point we still don’t know exactly what the cause for the breakup was. Did Humphries make a pass at Kourtney? Did Kim realise that her husband was a dopey looking giant?
Whatever the cause, we will no doubt hear about it on one of Kim’s reality television shows before too long. The recent Minnesota trip helped Kim apply some ‘closure’ to the relationship. The interesting thing about the marriage is that Rob Kardashian, Kim’s brother, predicted the marriage would fail. Is he a psychic or realised that Humphries was completely wrong for Kim?
There are apparently no conflicts in the divorce settlement, so that indicates Kris is not coming after Kim Kardashian’s money! Additionally it means there probably isn’t a sex tape floating around from their brief marriage. That will be a relief for Kardashian after the embarrassing Kim Kardashian Sex Tape.
